Sacramento area animals and their caregivers are having a hard time. The rising cost of pet food and veterinary medical services is making it harder to care for pets, resulting in an increase in pet surrenders and abandonment. Local shelters and rescues are beyond capacity.
Whisker Warriors Animal Defense and Quick Quack Car Wash want to help. Whisker Warrior provides low-cost spay/neuter vouchers and pet food for caregivers in need. Quick Quack is the fourth largest car wash in the nation.
On Sunday, October 22, the organizations are partnering for a special “Day at the Wash” at the Quick Quack car wash at 2346 Sunrise Blvd. in Rancho Cordova from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funds will be used to purchase pet food for Meals on Wheels seniors and Mather Veterans Village veterans with pets.
Bring in the attached flyer (print the flyer or take a photo of it on your mobile device) and Quick Quack will donate the following to Whisker Warriors:
· 50% of each car wash purchased
· $20 for every membership purchased
· Plus $2 for any current member that provides the flyer
